Over the weekend I made a long due backpack for Olivia of Alpaca India. We made a trade and she’s knitting me a lovely something something and I made her one of my new backpacks with fabric of her choosing. She gave me light weight denim and a piece of a oilcloth type fabric. I’m making another one for another order and i’m all in making the full collection. Expect them soon. This backpack is a little bit bigger than what the pieces of the collection will be.
On another note, i’d like to share a couple features of my work in the past weeks that i stumbled upon: One is in the very inspiring blog Paper ‘n Stitch, and the other one was in a compilation of lovely work from México. Thank you both!
El fin de semana hice una mochila por pedido especial para Olivia de Alpaca India. Ya se la debía de hace rato porque hicimos un intercambio, ella me está tejiendo algo lindo y yo le hice esta mochila con tela que ella me dió. Me mandó mezclilla y una tela como de esos manteles con cubierta de plástico. Estoy ahorita en el proceso de hacer otra que también fue pedido especial y en cuanto termine esa, me dedico en pleno a hacer la colección. Pronto, pronto!.
Esta mochila la hice un poquito más grande de lo que serán las que haga para vender.
