Cada cierto tanto, por alguna u otra razón, regreso a ver las fotos de las bolsas de colecciones pasadas que he hecho de ziazia. Justo ahora hice eso para buscar el color de una tela que usé en una pañalera ya que me pidieron algo con ese mismo color. Me dio la nostalgia de las bolsas jejejejejejeje. Como querer regresar a ver las bolsas, ver ahorita como andan, etc. Me regrese a ver las del 2007! wow, los años! jejejej Mis hijas! Ok, ya estoy exagerando.
Algunas de las bolsas que me han gustado mucho, se han quedado con amigas cercanas que seguido veo con sus bolsas ziazia. Eso si que me hace sonreir! Se siente igual de lindo que si ves una pieza tuya como dibujo o pintura colgada en algun lugar. Se siente bonito.
Este otoño-invierno, quiero revivir diseños pasados como parte de la colección 2009-2. Pienso que ya me hice de unos cuantos diseños de bolsas que me han funcionado muy bien y pienso que son con los que me quedaré de aqui en adelante…. por lo menos por un buen rato.
Les quiero compartir algunas de mis favoritas y porque son de mis favoritas. Nótese que pongo ALGUNAS de mis favoritas, ya que todas son mis favoritas! jajaja. No hay discriminación hacia alguna u otra bolsa.
I’m not sure if I do have english speaking readers, but if you are one of them, I’m changing things up a bit here. I usually write the translation at the bottom, so it’s easier to find and read but in this post, i’m going to put it right here because I’m going to share a few of favorite bags i’ve done over the years and because i’m writing why they are memorable, I want you to read it while observing the picture and not go back and forth from text and picture.
Every onece in a while, for one or another reason, I go back to the photos of past colections of ziazia. Today was one of those days and I get kind of nostalgic about some bags (ok, all of them!) and I get a feeling of wanting to see them, know who has them, how they are holding up, etc. Just now I was seing the 2007 colection. My babys! hehehe.
I do see some of them every once in a while, a few of my friends own some of the bags of past collections, and I smile every time! I know you’re probably laughing at me! hahaha I am. But I do get a warm feeling when i see them, it’s like seing my artwork in someones home or in a gallery.
I am going to revive a few past design I think have worked very well. I want to do them for this fall-winter collection.

Esta me gustó mucho, desde que la corte. La tela del forro es una tela vintage que salió de las telas olvidadas de la mamá de mi novio. Es una tela que representa un panal de abejas, es 100% algodón. Me encantó la combinación que hice de colores y formas.
I liked this one a lot, the cut and design. The inside fabric is a vintage fabric found in the stash of my mother in law, probably lost from a long while back! The fabric has a bee hive design, it’s so soft and it’s 100% cotton. I really liked the color combination I used in this bag.
Con esta también me sucedio similar. Las telas, el color mostaza me encanta. La serigrafía. Este diseño con las agarraderas integradas y el bies demarcandolas me ha gustado mucho.
With this one, it’s almost the same as the brown bag. I love this tone of yellow. This design has worked with me so well.
Esta bolsa fue hecha pensando en un sueter que tenía cuando estaba chiquita. Era un sueter azul marino con crucecitas blancas y mi mamá siempre me lo ponia con una blusa blanca de cuello redondo abajo asi que se veia aun más lindo. jeje.
This one was made thinking of a sweater I had when I was little. It was so pretty and my mom always put a petter pan collar white shirt uinderneath it so I looked so cute.
Qué más puedo decir que amarillo mostaza?. Amarillo mostaza de nuevo.
What else can I say but yellow mustard? Yellow mustard.
Estas dos carteras siempre me gustaron mucho. La tela de tulipanes como que hace que todo se vea bien. La cartera azul claro se fue a una amiga con el sobrenombre Tulipan. La extravió una vez y para su suerte se la regresaron junto con todo su contenido intacto.
These two wallets I like a lot. The tulip fabric just made everything look great. The light blue wallet went to a friend that ahs the nickname Tulip. It got lost once but she got it back along with everything she had inside. She was so happy to have it back.
Esta tela gris claro es realmente el lado contrario de una mezclilla negra. Me encanto y sigo en busca de una tela similar. Era una mezclilla gruesa y suavecita. La combinacion de grices con toques negros fue la clave aqui, sumandole los dibujos de mis piernas con hilo negro sutilmente escondidas.
Esta bolsa tuvo un final triste: la compraron y se fue por correo a perderse seguramente en las manos de algun vecino de quien la compró.
This light grey fabric is actually the wrong side of a black denim. I loved it and I’m always on the search for something like it. It was thick yet soft. The combo of shades of grey and the touches of black along with the drawing of my legs with black contrasting thread just seem to go so well.
This bag had a sad ending: it was bought and when in the mail just to, probably, end up lost in the hands of some neighbour of the persn who bought it.
