I’m so tired today.. I was up late working with my friend Fernandauski and today my boy woke me up early. I did get a lot done today.

Por fin pude tomarles unas fotos con más detalle y mejor luz a las nuevas bolsas hoy.

Hoy subiré a mi etsy un par y cada día tendré más disponibles.
Estoy cansada hoy.. Me desvelé anoche trabajando con mi amiga Fernandauski y hoy mi chaparro me despertó temprano… aunque si hice muchas cosas hoy por despertarme temprano.

This is my treat after a long day.
I had to go to San Diego in the morning but the border crossing was crazy! There were more than 400 people to cross… I wan’t going to make it to my class by 10 am so I went to the Uni. and decided to go to SD later.. it was the same big ass line to cross at 1pm. Bleh.. I had to do it. By foot. In the sun. Agh. When I came back to Tijuana, I went to pick up my car after weeks at the mechanic and it runs like butter! So happy.
I came home, ate because I hadn’t since breakfast and to treat myself after a hot day: watermelon..or how we call it here, sandía. Yum.

Este es mi premio después de un largo día.
Tuve que ir a San Diego en la mañana pero cuando llegué a la linea, estaba de locos! Como más de 400 peatones en el cruze… No iba a alcanzar a llegar a mi clase de las 10am así que decidí cruzar más tarde y me fui a la Uni. Estaba casi igual de larga la fila a la 1pm pero ya tenía que ir..en el sol.. a pie… Cuando regresé a Tijuana, fui a recojer mi carro del taller mecánico.. corre muy bien! Estoy contenta. Después regresé a casa a comer porque no había comido desde el desayuno y de postre una deliciosa sandía! Muy rica!
Espero que hayan tenido un buen día y un buen inicio de fin de semana.

I’ve been working hard and not making homework ha!
I made a collaboration with técui and made brooches and coin purses that I forgot to take pictures of! doh. See, my head is everywhere except where it’s suppose to be. Well the pieces turned out great! I love how they look and they will be available this weekend at Festiarte in Playas de Tijuana.
I’m also almost ready with a couple of packages for two lovely stores. More on that later this week. I won’t forget to take photos and maybe later this week means this weekend because it’s almost friday!

Trabajé en colaboración con técui para hcer unos monederos y broches, de los cuales olvidé tomarle fotos a los monederos! Me encantaron como quedaron. He trabajado bastante esta semana y mi cabeza anda en todo menos en esos detalles en los que tiene que estar.
Estas piezas estarán a la venta este fin de semana en el Festiarte en Playas de Tijuana.
También estoy preparando unos paquetes para unas tiendas muy lindas. Más información sobre eso pronto aunque ya casi es viernes y pensaba tenerlo todo listo para ese día, o sease mañana!. Regreso a trabajar.

Caviar Izquierda is a new magazine that will be published four times a year and the first volume features Tijuana as the theme revolves around the origin and this city is where the project originated and grew.
My very good (and very talented) friend Franklin Collao is the creative director of the magazine which is the first of it’s kind in México, it’s a collectible piece on it’s own with it’s thick hard cover and very selected content and images.

It’s not yet available worldwide (it will be soon, i think). People in San Diego can get it in Tijuana in a lot of places.

Caviar Izquierda es una nueva revista que se publica cuatro veces al año y en su primer volumen hace honor a Tijuana ya que el tema que tratan es el origen y es en esta viudad en donde se originó y creció el proyecto.
Mi muy buen amigo (y muy talentoso) Franklin Collao es el director creativo de la revista la cual es la primera de su tipo en México, es una revista-objeto que es coleccionable por sí sola con su pasta dura y contenido selecto.

Last night I took Ibrahim to the Cubo museum at CECUT to see Orlando play in a little Static discos showcase. It was great. Ibrahim was so exited because he love Orlando’s music. It was the start of the weekend of celebrations of his birthday.

(Anyone in the L.A./S.D. area interested in seeing Orlando play, he’ll be at the Pomona Glass House next weekend, more info here.)

Anoche llevamos a Ibrahim al Cubo en el CECUT a ver a Orlando tocar en un pequeño showcase de Static discos. Estuvo muy divertido. Ibrahim la pasó muy bien y estaba muy emosionado porque le encanta la música de Orlando.
(Para los que andan en el área de L.A./S.D. y les interesa ver tocar a Orlando, estará en el Pomona Glass House el siguiente fin de semana, más info aquí.)
