Here a few photos taken all by ulises. It was one saturday morning we went to visit my mom and were on the look out for the farmer’s market {didn’t find it, they weren’t there} and wanted to take in some fresh cold air.

That, avobe, is me. You won’t see my face here very often because i’m camera shy. I don’t like my photo to be taken but i sometimes let myself be photographed just because i want my little one to have something to be able to remember how his mother was when she was in her 20s. I have a very treasured box of photos of my mom from when she was young and before she had me and it’s so fun to look at how she was before. I want that for the little. So, here’s my serious face.
A few minutes later, this bellow appeared in the horizon.

I miss the weekend walks. I need them, at least one.. soon.

We haven’t had our first weekend walk of the year which we have planned for this weekend. Waking up saturday early, making a quick yet hardy breakfast, hot coffee and picking up friends to go walking. I love our weekend walks because it’s a way we unwind after the whole work week, we disconnect a few hours and just think of what’s in front of us, breathe fresh air and talk all the way about anything and everything while having a gorgeous view anywhere we look.
Ulises wants to make a few maps of the usual trails we hike with photos and all but still hasn’t decided how to do it and share it but when he does, i’ll let you all know, if anyone’s interested.

These photos above are from our trip to the Laguna Hanson last October. It’s freezing up there right now, with regular tons of snow. I’ve never been there this time of the year but it sure would be fun if i have the proper clothing and equipment/car not to freeze or get stranded hehe.

Aun no hemos ido a caminar en lo que va del año aunque ya tenemos planeada nuestra primer caminata para mañana, sábado. Nos despertaremos temprano, hacer un desayuno rápido pero llenador, café calientito y después a ir por unos amigos que nos acompañarán a caminar. Me encantan nuestras caminatas porque es el momento en que nos desestresamos de la semana de trabajo y cualquier cosa que traigamos cargando, nos desconectamos unas horas y solo pensamos en lo que está frente a nosotros, respirar el aire fresco y platicar sobre cualquier cosa mientras tenemos bellos paisajes alrededor.
Ulises quiere hacer unos mapas de los lugares que caminamos, con fotos y todo eso, para compartir solo que aun no decdide bien cómo hacerlos. Cuando ya los tenga, se los comparto por si les interesa.

Las fotos de arriba son de nuestro pequeño viaje a la Laguna Hanson del pasado Octubre. Ahorita está heladísimo en la sierra y la laguna, con nevadas continuas. No me ha tocado ir en esta época del año aunque si estaría suave ir con tanta nieve, con la ropa apropiada, equipo y carro que no se atore por ahí.
