Family Affairs, FW 2012.

I have spent so much time in my car this week that, besides the fact that i actually like to drive, music has made everything a lot more enjoyable. I’ve had robyn, st. vincent, gus gus, kimbra and tennis on repeat. This song by Tennis stuck to me all day today.

Is it so hard to forgive the way

Como la mitad del mundo, ya quiero ver esta película.

We stumbled upon these gorgeous poppies in one of our walks. I’ve seen them before in photos but never in person and never growing on its our habitat. They are even more amazing in person. Wild flowers surprise me. I want to have them in my garden but i read they’re quite difficult to grow, the establishing period is the decisive but once it’s past that and healthy, it grows like mad. They’re so tall, as tall as a small tree and bloom in late spring and all summer. Aren’t they something?

Nos topamos estas hermosas amapolas en una caminata. Las había visto en fotos antes pero nunca en persona y creciendo en su habitat. Son más hermosas en persona. Me encantaron. Quisiera tenerlas en mi jardín aunque leí que es algo dificil hacerlas crecer en jardines ya que el periodo en que se establecen bien es dificil y suelen morir pero una vez que agarran, crecen como locas. Son muy altas, tan altas como un árbol bajo y florecen a finales de primavera y todo el verano. ¿A poco no son bellas?
