Velcro - Proyecto de Arte Funcional

Este sábado 18 de mayo, algunos de mis dibujos estarán a la venta en el evento Garage Art en DF. Dénse la vuelta a la Colonia Juárez, Del. Cuauhtemoc para ver a muchísimos artistas y diseñadores y poder adquirir piezas de arte únicas o de ediciones limitadas en precios accesibles. Yo estaré (bueno, yo en persona no, mi trabajo si) justo con una amiga y talentosa artista Yessica Díaz. Toman fotos que quiero ver lo que me voy a perder!
El evento es de 12pm a 9pm. Entrada libre.

My art work will be sold in Mexico City this satuday at the event Garage Art. My talented friend Yessica Díaz will be at the table with her art work and mine so stop by if you happen to be in DF this weekend. It’s a free event and a ton of other artist will be selling their work at affordable prices.

All i can say is that it was a very cold {yet fun} afternoon and i had a lot of delicious Das Cortes’ coffee.

I was part of a lovely winter bazaar on december 7th held by the lovely Miroslava at Boutique Chandelier. It was a few of us local artists and designer, appetizers and pink chandelier cocktails.

Today i’ll be at Boutique Chandelier today in a special winter bazaar from 3 to 8pm. Chandelier is located in downtown Tijuana, in 11th. street, between ave. Quintana Roo and Ave. Pio Pico. I’ll have pretty new pouches, heart brooches, backpacks and bags. Stop by and get your holiday gifts while supporting local businesses.

Hoy estaré en la Boutique Chandelier de 3pm a 8pm, participando en un bazar especial de invierno. La dirección es calle 11 #8850 en la Zona Centro de Tijuana, entre Quintana Roo y Pio Pico. Tendré nuevos broches, monederos, mochilas y bolsas. Dense la vuelta si les faltan algunos regalos para esta temporada y al mismo tiempo apoyen a negocios y diseñadores locales.

It’s the holiday season and i’ll be participating in a few events in Tijuana, so if you’re in the SD-TJ area, stop by.

Ha llegado la temporada dicemberina y esos días festivos así que estaré participando en algunos eventos/bazares en Tijuana, así que si andan en el área de SD-TJ, dense la vuelta.

This weekend, sunday to be precise, the awesome shop Backtalk will have a backpack trunk show and a few of ziazia backpacks will be there. I’m exited! I wish i could fly up there and visit for the weekend. If you´re in the area, stop by.

Hi! It’s been hot hot and i have yet to go to the beach or camping this year. I have to make time one weekend to do it. I just keep dreaming about it. Anyway, this weekend i participated in a little crafty event in Raiz Lab here in Tijuana {it’s a cultural space, gallery, workshops, exhibitions and the like} and i took a few photos to share with you.

hola! ha estado el clima muy muy caliente y yo aun no he ido a la playa ni acampar. tengo que hacer tiempo ya un fin de semana e ir. solo sueño y sueño en hacerlo, uir un fin de semana largo, lejos de la ciudad, dormir bajo las estrellas… bueno, cambiando de tema… este fin de semana estuvo tranquilo, lo único que hice fue participar en un evento pequeño en raiz laboratorio de arte aquí en tijuana y lomé fotos para compartirles.

Tijuana: hoy estaré participando en Raiz Laboratorio de Arte, en el Fracc. Calette {a un lado de la Gabilondo} , junto con otros expositores como Foi JJ, Warm & Fuzzy, Nomi, entre otros. Y van a proyectar películas {seguramente también tendrán comida..:)}. Así que si han estado pensando en pedir algo ziazia, necesitan un regalo o quieren salir un rato a que les de el aire, dense la vuelta, está muy bonito el día.
Estaremos de 3pm hasta las 9pm. Localizado atrás de Calette, Lerdo de Tejada 10237.

Any locals, Tijuana or San Diego, I’ll be participating today at Raiz Lab., i’ll have backpacks, new pouches {still not in the etsy shop}, big wallets and handbags, if you wanted to see them in person or need a gift, well, any reason actually is a good one because it’s such a pretty day. Raiz Lab. is located in Fracc. Callete Lerdo de Tejada 10237.

Here are some of the photos that i took with ulises’ phone (didn’t want to carry my heavy camera this time, so sorry for the bad quality) of last saturday’s exhibition in 206 Arte Contemporáneo. It’s a small space with a lot of potential.

Hoy inaugura un nuevo espacio llamado 206 Arte contemporáneo y abre con una exhibición de artistas emergentes (todas mujeres, coincidencia? :) de Tijuana, de la cual soy parte, participando con dos pinturas. La exhibición es a las 8pm, hoy sábado, en el 2do piso del Pasaje. Espero que puedan ir.

There’s a new art gallery opening today called 206 Arte contemporáneo and it’s opening with an exhibition of work from various artists (all women, all from Tijuana) which i’m part of. The opening is today at 8pm in the 2nd. floor of the Pasaje Gómez in Downtown Tijuana.
