Here’s a photo of the Domingo de Diseño Independiente (in english: Independent design sunday). I just took with me new pieces and a ton of brooches because getting to the CECUT today was going to be an adventure because of the game (argentina vs. méxico) and they close a few of the streets so I walked.
I took pintures of the new brooches today, too.

Hoy fue el Domingo de Diseño Independiente en el CECUT y lleve conmigo solo piezas nuevas y muchos broches que hice nuevos porque como me tocó irme caminando debido al cierre de calles por el juego (méxico vs. argentina).

I have a lot of new pieces in the shop that are very bright and colorful!

What are you guys doing this weekend?
I really don’t have any plans other than my usual saturday spent at the etching workshop working on a project but that’s about it. Maybe some [spring] cleaning, paint a few walls white to lighten up my living room and a day spent outside in the warm sun.

Yo realmente no tengo gran plan aparte de mi usual sábado en el taller de grabado haciendo mis prácticas profesionales y ya. Talvez un pco de limpieza de primavera, pintar unas paredes blancas para que reflejen más luz en mi sala ya que ahora si ya empezó la primavera.

It’s friday and that makes me happy, now that i’m back to a school schedule.

This cloudy grey brooch is the same color as the clouds hanging in the sky today in Tijuana; it’s going to rain. This kind of weather puts me in a very happy and creative mood and I have my “to do” list ready and my fabric cut out. I’m ready. hot chai in hand.
